Douglas Schaefer

Douglas Schaefer has been working in the field since 1985. Douglas began their career as a General Accounting Supervisor at Outboard Marine Corporation, where they were responsible for product costing, inventory valuation, physical inventories, and other cost accounting tasks. Douglas also supervised the payroll function and implemented a new plant wide timekeeping system. In 1995, they moved to True Value Company as a Senior Financial Analyst. After that, they worked at CD Group Inc. as a Senior Distribution Consultant from 2002 to 2014. In this role, they were in charge of Logistics, SO Management, Procurement, and Transportation Management. Douglas then joined True Clarity Consulting, LLC in 2011 as a Distribution Consultant. In 2015, they worked at The Carlstar Group as a JDE EnterpriseOne Feasibility Study and Transportation Management Consultant. In 2016, they joined C&A Technology LLC as a JDE SO & Transportation Consultant for OneWorld Xe to E-1 9.1 Upgrade. Douglas currently works at ERP Suites as an Applications Managed Services Consultant, providing functional support for critical JDE modules, including G/L, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Sales Order Mgmt, Procurement, Inventory Mgmt, and Transportation. Douglas has also assisted in rolling an A/P Automation Solution for ERP Suites clients.

Douglas Schaefer obtained an MBA from DePaul Driehaus College of Business in 1995, with a field of study in Business Administration. Douglas also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Augustana College in 1980, with a field of study in Business Administration. In addition, they obtained two certifications from Oracle in 2011, one for Oracle JDE E-1 Implementation Champion - Supply Chain Mgmt - Distribution and one for Oracle JDE E-1 Implementation Champion - Financial Management.
