Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Patrick began their career as a Farm Manager at Ballycoheir Farm in 1997, where they successfully ran a dairy farm for 7 years. During this time, they achieved significant increases in production and doubled the milk quota.

In 2011, Patrick worked as a Part-time Draftsman at O'NE group and then as a Draftsman at Joe Fallon Design from 2012 to 2013. In these roles, they demonstrated their skills in design and drafting.

Patrick then pursued further education, becoming a Student of Higher Diploma in Science in Computer Science at Waterford Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014.

Patrick gained industry experience at StitcherAds in 2014, where they completed a work placement. There, they gained practical knowledge in an operational setting.

Patrick's most recent employment is at Errigal Inc, where they started as an Operations Engineer in 2016 and progressed to the role of Senior Operations Engineer. Patrick'sresponsibilities include new customer onboarding, customer support, and hosting regular catch-up meetings with customers. Patrick is also responsible for support ticket triage, estimation of level of effort, and resolution.

Patrick Murphy's education history is as follows:

From 2006 to 2009, they attended Waterford Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology. During this time, they studied subjects such as CAD, Environmental Science, Technical House Design, Materials & Detailing, and Management & Law.

Patrick then furthered their education from 2009 to 2010 at Waterford Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architectural Technology. Patrick'sstudies in this program included environmental science, Photoshop, conservation, sustainability, and design dissertation.

In 2010, Patrick pursued a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering at Waterford Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2011. Patrick'scoursework during this program covered research methods, dynamic thermal simulation of building fabric, and passive & low energy building design.

Following their interest in computer science, Patrick enrolled in the ICT Skills Higher Diploma in Science in Computer Science program at Waterford Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014. Here, they focused on computer programming.

Lastly, Patrick pursued a Master's Degree in Computing (Enterprise Software) from 2014 to 2016 at Waterford Institute of Technology.
