Shaun Foy

Shaun Foy is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Founder and Executive Director of both Econic Biosciences and Xap Therapeutics since January 2022 and January 2020, respectively. Shaun also holds the positions of Chairman and Founder/CEO at ERS Genomics, which focuses on broad access to CRISPR-Cas9 intellectual property, since February 2014. Previous roles include Venture Partner at S.R. One Ltd, Board Member at Accel-Rx and CRISPR Therapeutics, as well as Partner at Nomura Phase4 Ventures. Shaun's educational background includes a Master of Science in Cell Biology & Immunology and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Cell & Developmental Biology, both from The University of British Columbia.
