Ondrej Jilek

Ondrej Jilek has a diverse work experience, starting from their current position as the Head of Stresstesting & Credit Risk Simulations at Erste Group since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Data and Risk management Expert, serving as an Advisor from 2019 to 2022. Ondrej also worked as a Manager at PwC Czech Republic from 2017 to 2019.

Before that, Ondrej held various roles at Erste Group Bank AG, including Head of Credit Risk RWA Simulations and Stress Tests from 2014 to 2017, and Risk management at Erste Bank from 2012 to 2014. Prior to joining Erste Bank, they worked at Erste Group Bank AG as an MIS Specialist from 2010 to 2012, and as a Scoring Specialist from 2007 to 2010.

Ondrej started their career as a Scoring Specialist at Ceska sporitelna from 2004 to 2006, and worked as an Analyst at SULKO s.r.o. in 2004. Overall, Ondrej Jilek has gained extensive experience in risk management, data analysis, and financial services throughout their career.

Ondrej Jilek completed their Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from Brno University of Technology from 1998 to 2004. Ondrej then pursued Applied Mathematics at Palacký University in Olomouc from 2006 to 2012. In addition, they briefly attended the University of Malta in 2004 and Technische Universität Wien in 2002-2003. Prior to their university studies, they attended Archiepiscopal grammar school in Kroměříž from 1994 to 1998.
