Derek D.

Derek D. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Derek started their career at Tufts University as an Undergraduate Researcher in Bioanalytical Chemistry in the Walt Laboratory from May 2011 to May 2013. Following that, they joined Quanterix as a Research Associate in System Integration from June 2013 to August 2014, and then moved up to the role of Senior Research Associate in the same field from August 2014 to November 2015. Derek continued their career at Quanterix as a Software Engineer from November 2015 to September 2019, initially as a Software Engineer I and later as a Software Engineer II.

In 2019, Derek D. joined Escher Group as a Software Engineer, initially working in the Research & Development department from October 2019 to May 2022. During this time, they played a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the core infrastructure of the Riposte Application framework, collaborating with the lead architect, product manager, and a team of .NET engineers. Derek also provided bug fixes and new features for the legacy .NET Riposte Essential framework. Additionally, Derek D. worked with the test automation team to provide automated UI tests and participated in the creation of a company employee culture council, contributing to the development of a hybrid working model policy.

Currently, Derek D. holds the position of Software Engineer, DevOps at Escher Group, starting from May 2022.

Derek D. pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in ACS-certified Chemistry at Tufts University from 2009 to 2013.
