Peter Murphy

Peter Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Peter started their career in 2002 as an Analyst Programmer at United Drug, where they were responsible for designing and implementing modifications to the company's ERP system. In 2006, they worked at Buy4Now as a Lead Developer for the 3 Mobile online store project and later as a Team Lead & Project Manager for the eGrocery team. At Retail inMotion, starting from 2007, Peter served as a Lead Developer and Technical Lead, where they designed and implemented a PCI certified payment processing engine. Their most recent position, starting from 2014, is at Escher Group, where they initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer, developing Postal applications on various platforms. Peter then progressed to the role of Technical Team Lead and currently holds the role of Senior Software Development Manager.

Peter Murphy has a diverse education history. In 1997, they enrolled in Technological University Dublin and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology. In 2003, they pursued a part-time HETAC Course in Project Management at Technological University Dublin, which they completed in 2004. Later in 2004, Peter attended Dorset College for a part-time .Net - MCAD Training Course, which lasted until 2005. In 2012, they briefly attended Technological University Dublin for a Mobile Application Design & Development program. Additionally, in December 2019, Peter earned the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance®.
