Nick Tumney

Nick Tumney is a seasoned professional in environmental data management and implementation, currently serving as Senior Implementation Manager at EScIS since May 2016, where a Canadian office has recently been established in Vancouver, BC. In addition to this role, Nick is also a Senior Implementation Manager at ESdat Environmental Data Management Software since September 2021. Previously, Nick held various positions at URS Corporation from July 2006 to October 2015, including Associate Environmental Scientist and Environmental & Spatial Information Manager, overseeing contaminated land investigations and coordinating national environmental data management in Australia. Nick’s early career included a role as Seasonal Ranger at Parks Victoria, assisting in the management of coastal parks. Academically, Nick holds a Master of Spatial Information Science, a Diploma in Geographic Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science, all obtained from the University of Melbourne.
