Sasja Bouwer possesses extensive experience in special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Escondido Union School District since August 2019, following a role as a Special Education Paraprofessional at San Marcos Unified School District from September 2010 to August 2019. Additional experience includes a position as a Special Education Teacher for an Extended School Year program in June and July 2019, and international volunteer work with Global Village Habitat for Humanity from November 2015 to November 2017. Sasja's educational background includes a Master of Education in Special Education-Autism from UMass Global (2021-2022), a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Western Governors University (2015-2018), and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Palomar College (2012-2014). Prior to these achievements, Sasja contributed as a Language Instructor at Berlitz Languages School and coordinated community programs for NCCJ - The National Conference for Community & Justice in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
