Peter Borchers

Peter Borchers is a seasoned entrepreneur and academic with extensive experience in innovation, digital transformation, and strategic leadership. As the Founder and Managing Partner of pbo.vc since December 2017, Peter supports CxOs in creating new business opportunities in a digital world. In addition to this role, Peter has been an Affiliate Professor at ESCP Europe since October 2013 and Co-Founder and Academic Director of ESCP U-SCHOOL, focusing on entrepreneurial leadership and strategy. Peter co-founded and currently leads dp4i, an Enterprise SaaS solution tailored for insurance companies, and held various influential advisory and executive positions, including Senior Advisor to Allianz SE and CEO of Allianz X. Previous contributions include founding Deutsche Telekom's global incubator and co-founding T-Com Innovations GmbH, both of which aimed at fostering startup growth and innovation. Education credentials include a Dipl.-Kfm. in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg and studies at prestigious institutions like ESMT Berlin, WU Vienna, and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
