Ben Griggs

Ben Griggs has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ben began their career as an Advertising Coordinator at The Washington Post, where they provided administrative support and oversaw advertisement processes. Ben then worked as a Copywriter at FriendFinder Networks Inc., managing and writing for online magazines and producing marketing copy. Ben then transitioned into the education field, first as an English and Music Teacher at Mid-Peninsula High School, where they developed curriculum and directed the music program. Ben also served as an Instructor and Counselor at The Nueva School, where they created social-emotional curriculum and worked on school climate issues. Ben continued their education by pursuing a PhD at UC Berkeley, focusing on research interests such as ethnic identity and mental health. Ben gained experience as a Head of School at The Marin School, overseeing various student support programs and ensuring curriculum alignment. Currently, Ben is serving as the Interim Head of School at Escuela Bilingüe Internacional.
