Sheetal Shah

Sheetal Shah has an extensive work history in the field of software engineering. Sheetal is currently working as the Director of Engineering at eSentire since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Trellix as the Director of Software Engineering from December 2021 to April 2022. Sheetal also had a long tenure at FireEye, Inc., where they held the position of Sr. Engineering Manager from December 2017 to March 2022 and Staff Software Development Engineer from July 2013 to December 2017. Before joining FireEye, Inc., Sheetal worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a Software Development Engineer from March 2010 to July 2013. Sheetal'srole involved developing BGP features and enhancements for Alcatel-Lucent service routers and working on CLI, SNMP features, and framework. Sheetal also provided HA (High Availability) support. Prior to that, Sheetal worked at MediaDefender Inc. (Peer Media Technologies) as a Software Engineer from May 2007 to March 2010. Sheetal'swork primarily focused on creating software for copyright content protection, content verification, and marketing intelligence on traditional Peer-to-Peer networks. Sheetal researched peer-to-peer network protocols and implemented strategies and algorithms for content protection. Sheetal started their career as a Software Engineer at Telesoft (Pune) from June 2005 to December 2005, where they developed and unit tested modules of the NuPoint Voice Messenger System and provided customer issue troubleshooting and software development in C on UNIX and QNX. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the University of Southern California from April 2006 to May 2007.

Sheetal Shah completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Sheetal then pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2008.
