Filip Stepniak

Filip Stepniak has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Filip began their career as an Intern at the Compliance Department of U.S. Money Express in 2014. In 2015, they joined 1&1 Internet SE, where they worked in various roles such as Customer Management and Productivity Development. In 2018, Filip joined virtual7 GmbH as a Technical Consultant and Data Analyst for a few months. Later that year, they joined esentri AG as a Consultant and Data Scientist, and eventually became a Senior Consultant, specializing in Data Science and Engineering. In 2022, Filip became the Co-Lead of Industrial Analytics and IoT at esentri AG. Additionally, they have experience as a Co-Organiser for Ocean/Lava Triathlon Polska in 2011.

Filip Stepniak has a strong educational background in mathematics and economics. Filip obtained a Master's Degree in Business Mathematics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they specialized in the field of study of Business Mathematics. Additionally, in 2014, Filip participated in an exchange program at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, focusing on International Finance.

Before pursuing their Master's Degree, Filip completed their Bachelor's Degree at SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2011 to 2014. Filip specialized in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics during this time.

In terms of additional certifications, Filip has acquired various skills in data science and analysis. Filip obtained certifications from Splunk, including Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, and Splunk Core Certified User in 2019. In 2018, they completed the Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp from Udemy, as well as The Ultimate Hands-On Hadoop – Tame your Big Data course. Furthermore, they achieved Intermediate fluency in Spanish through the Duolingo platform in 2017.
