Jakub Dębski

Jakub Dębski began their work experience at ESET in 2000 as a Developer/Malware Analyst until 2005. Jakub then moved on to ArcaBit Sp. z o.o. in 2005, where they served as the Antivirus Engine Lead. In 2007, they returned to ESET as a Senior Developer/Security Analyst until 2008. From 2008 to 2017, Jakub worked at ESET Poland, starting as the Managing Director and overseeing the establishment and growth of the branch office. In 2013, they joined ESET and assumed the role of Head of Core Technology Development, leading teams responsible for the development of core technologies and successfully delivering an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) security product. In 2017, Jakub was promoted to the position of Chief Product Officer at ESET, where they formulated a vision for innovative products and platforms, developed and implemented product strategies, and executed AI-augmented XDR products.

Jakub Dębski obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Warszawska Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki (formerly Mila College) from 2000 to 2004. Jakub then pursued a Master of Science degree at the Military University of Technology from 2004 to 2006.
