Michal Mraz

Michal Mraz is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system engineering and management, currently serving as a Senior System Engineer I/Manager at ESET since June 2016. In this role, Michal leads a team of nine Linux system engineers, focusing on FOSS tech stack across approximately 1500 machines, including physical, virtual, and IaaS environments. Previous roles at ESET include System Engineer III/Team Coordinator and System Engineer III, with responsibilities ranging from project management to infrastructure deployment on AWS and Kubernetes. Michal co-founded Frio.sk in March 2009, a web design and development studio, serving as a Linux Server Administrator and Tech support. Michal holds a Bachelor's degree in Teacher Training in Practical Economic Subjects from DTI Dubnica nad Váhom and a Bachelor's degree in Management and Economics from Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
