Peter Oravec

Peter Oravec has a strong background in accounting and finance with experience in various roles and companies. Peter currently works at ESET as the Director of Global Accounting. Prior to this, they held positions as a Senior Global Accountant / Team Lead and a Senior Global Accountant at ESET. Before joining ESET, Peter worked at Siemens as an Accounting Specialist and a Methodics Specialist for IFRS. Peter also gained experience at IBM, where they served as a Project Team Member, SOX Testing Specialist, and Financial Accountant.

Peter Oravec earned their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici, from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a School leaving exam in Business Administration and Management, General from Obchodná akadémia, from 1997 to 2001. In 2013, they also obtained a certification in Dip IFR from ACCA.
