Roman Kovac

Roman Kovac has a work experience of over 20 years. Roman started their career as a Software Developer at AMADEE AG in 2000 and worked there for 9 years. In 2009, they joined ESET as a Malware Researcher and worked until 2011. After a brief break, they returned to ESET in 2012 and held the position of Head of Security Research Laboratory. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Chief Research Officer at ESET.

Roman Kovac received their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave, where they studied from 1993 to 1998.
