Matthew Pierce

Matthew Pierce is a Senior Software Engineer at Esko since September 2019, specializing in full-stack development with technologies such as React (Typescript) and Java to create a platform for managing packaging artwork and workflows, as well as researching cloud-based AI and machine-learning microservices utilizing the AWS ecosystem. Prior experience includes a Software Developer role at Latitude Geographics (March 2016 - August 2019), contributing to the Geocortex suite of GIS software and a mobile viewer, and a Research Assistant position at the University of Helsinki (May 2012 - September 2015), focusing on machine-learning software for online news-tracking.
