Brian Walsh

Brian’s credit union experience stretches nearly 25 years, with more than 15 years of experience in finance-related positions at ESL. He first joined the credit union in 2007 as a Financial Analyst and received a series of promotions and increasing responsibilities through the years, holding roles of Treasury Portfolio Manager, Balance Sheet Analytics Manager and Assistant Treasurer. In 2022 he was promoted to the role of Vice President/Director, Assistant Treasurer with oversight of the formulation and governance of the organization’s balance sheet. This includes managing a team responsible for guiding ESL’s fixed-income portfolio strategy, liquidity, and interest rate risk program.

Brian holds his Bachelor’s in Concentration Finance from SUNY Fredonia. He also volunteers his time as a member of the Finance Committee with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester and a part of the 2023 Leadership Rochester class.
