Carissa Christensen

Carissa Christensen has a comprehensive work experience in various roles related to Salesforce administration and technology consulting. Carissa began their career in 2008 as a Teacher's Aide at Jacob's Learning Ladder Preschool and Adventure Club. In 2009, they worked as an Event Staff and later became an Event Staff Supervisor at Drake University. In 2011, Carissa interned at Valé before joining BirdDogHR as a Customer Care Representative, where they worked closely with clients in various industries and provided recruitment solutions. At BirdDogHR, they also took on roles as a Marketing Intern and later as a Marketing Coordinator and Salesforce Administrator, where they were responsible for Salesforce configuration, data management, and administration of marketing automation software.

In 2019, Carissa transitioned to the role of a Salesforce Administrator at Berkley Technology Services before joining Vertex Software as a Salesforce Administrator. Carissa then worked as an HR Technology Consultant and Salesforce Lead at Corteva Agriscience. In 2021, Carissa worked as a Salesforce UX Developer at Ferrellgas before taking on the role of a Senior Salesforce Administrator at Hearth in 2022. Currently, in 2023, they hold the position of Principal Salesforce Administrator at ESO.

Throughout their career, Carissa has gained extensive experience in Salesforce administration, marketing automation, and customer care. Their work has involved managing customer marketing, trade show logistics, and implementing and managing various software solutions.

Carissa Christensen completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Marketing and Management at Drake University from 2009 to 2013. In 2011, they participated in a study abroad program at The University of Auckland.

Carissa also obtained various certifications from Salesforce, including Salesforce Certified Business Analyst in May 2023, Salesforce Certified User Experience Designer in July 2022, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I in June 2021, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Administrator in 2018, and several other certifications prior to that. Carissa also completed multiple badges and courses on Salesforce Trailhead, covering topics such as App Customization, Data Management, Data Modeling, Data Security, Lightning App Builder, Lightning Apps, Lightning Experience Basics, Lightning Experience Chatter Basics, Lightning Experience Data, Lightning Experience Features, Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards, and Lightning Experience Rollout.
