Sara Schow, MBA, CHFP

Sara Schow, MBA, CHFP, has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Sara is currently serving as a Customer Success Manager at Espressive since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Manager of Finance at Landmark Health from October 2021 to May 2022.

From March 2021 to October 2021, Sara held the position of Finance Manager at Ascension, specifically at Seton Medical Center Austin. Before this, they worked as a Finance Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis at Ascension from October 2019 to March 2021.

Before UTMB, Sara worked as an Administrative Resident to the CNO and VP of Operations at Baylor Scott & White Health- Hillcrest from June 2013 to May 2014. Their responsibilities included managing a project and performing financial analyses for the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) home visitation model and completing a $2 million business plan.

Sara's experience also includes being a Graduate Assistant at Baylor University from June 2012 to May 2014, where they conducted research, wrote blogs, and short news stories to promote the MBA program.

At the start of their career, Sara worked at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission as a Texas Works Advisor. Sara provided customer service to clients on various assistance programs and was promoted to eligibility specialist during their tenure from February 2010 to May 2012.

Sara also served as a Production Assistant at 4020 Productions, LLC from August 2007 to August 2008.

Sara Schow, MBA, CHFP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Sara then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Baylor University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sara has obtained several certifications from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). In June 2020, they obtained the Operational Excellence certification, indicating their proficiency in this area. In the same month, they also earned the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) designation, demonstrating their expertise in healthcare financial management. Prior to that, they obtained the HFMA Business of Health Care certification in May 2020.
