Chris Petersen

Chris Petersen is a seasoned professional in the technology and research sectors, currently serving as a Research Fellow at ESS Technology, Inc. since 2017. Petersen co-founded Sensawave Technology, Inc. in 2007, where the role of Chief Technology Officer is held. Previous experience includes co-founding SiliconIntervention and LionsGate Technologies, Inc., where leadership in research was demonstrated from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, Petersen directed technology development for the Pediatric Anesthesia Research Team at BC Children's Hospital from 2009 to 2017 and held various roles at Capres A/S between 2000 and 2009. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Semiconductor Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and an MS in Semiconductor Physics, along with a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a Math minor from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
