Kristy Chandler has a diverse work experience history. Kristy started their career as a Consultant at Accenture in 2003, where they applied technologies to business and worked on project management, functional analysis, design, testing, and implementation. Kristy then joined Mars as an Industrial Engineer, where they established production rates, staffing requirements, and capacity plans for candy production lines and developed a corrugate reuse program. In 2006, they moved to McMaster-Carr as an Operations Manager, overseeing a team responsible for stocking, replenishing, and warehouse space management. Kristy implemented an automated re-slotting tool and managed departmental budgets and strategic initiatives. In 2012, Kristy joined Walgreens as a Sr. Industrial Engineering Project Manager, where they developed business cases for supply chain projects and managed capital projects involving coordination among vendors and corporate teams. Kristy later became the Sr. Process Improvement Engineering Manager, leading a team responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for distribution centers. Kristy'smost recent role at Walgreens was as the Global Process Expert, Retail Transformation, where they led a cross-functional team responsible for distribution center business requirements and prioritized system changes. Currently, Kristy is employed as the Director of Continuous Improvement & Analytics at Essendant. Kristy oversees continuous improvement, analytics, and supply chain systems, and has recently been promoted to the role of Sr. Director.
Kristy Chandler obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. Kristy further pursued their education and completed their Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university in 2003.
