Lilith Vander Griend is an experienced researcher with a background in neurology and musculoskeletal diseases. From November 2007 to August 2012, Lilith served as a lab manager and research assistant at Stanford University, focusing on neurodegenerative disease research, including Alzheimer's, Down's syndrome, and Huntington's disease, under the supervision of Frank Longo. Prior to this role, Lilith was a research assistant at the Loma Linda Veterans Association for Research and Education from June 2005 to June 2007, working on musculoskeletal disease research in Jon Wergedal's lab. Lilith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside, obtained in 2005.
