Maria Klimchak

Maria Klimchak has a strong background in software engineering, with experience spanning over two decades.

Starting in 1998, Maria worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Spirent Communications, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and testing telecom software. Maria primarily focused on creating client-side software, utilizing tools such as Swing, ILOG, and JClass.

In 2005, Maria joined VisualMining as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, they designed and developed a portal web application using Liferay, Java EE, and Hibernate. Their work involved creating customized and interactive dashboards for data visualization and business intelligence. Maria was also involved in various areas of the product, including UI development, middle tier development using Tomcat, Liferay, and Struts, and backend application server development using JBoss and Hibernate. Maria worked at VisualMining until 2013.

From 2013 onwards, Maria worked at Dovel Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. Maria played a pivotal role in the design and development of Federal grants management software. Maria led the development effort to replace a legacy system for processing Mandatory grants, working on all aspects of the software lifecycle from initial design to release.

Most recently, in 2019, Maria joined Essex Management, LLC as a Principal Software Engineer. Details about their role at this company are not provided, but they are currently employed there.

Maria Klimchak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wilkes University. In addition, they have obtained certifications as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2023 and as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate in July 2022.
