Emily Buttress

Emily Buttress is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in environmental and conservation organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications at Essex Wildlife Trust since April 2017, Emily has held various communication roles within the organization. Previous experience includes positions at RSPB as a Communications Assistant and ORCA Peru as an Online Fundraising and Social Media Coordinator, where significant contributions were made in increasing organizational reach and engagement. Emily's educational background includes a Master of Science in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia, complemented by diverse volunteer and intern roles focused on environmental education and research.
