Eric Laffont

Eric Laffont currently serves as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) at ESSP SAS, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Laffont was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at TELESPAZIO FRANCE from June 2009 to November 2023, where responsibilities included OSSI, CSAM, and CE. Laffont also held the position of Galileo GSF Cybersecurity Architect, focusing on the architecture and security of the Galileo IOV/WP2SD DA. Earlier experience includes a role at CNES from January 1998 to June 2007 in Earth Observation and positions in Technical Development and hardware/software development at Visual Information Services Corp. and Commodore Business Machines, respectively. Laffont’s educational background includes studies at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
