Ernst van Werkhoven

In 2006, they joined Studievereniging UNFC as an Activities Commissioner, a role they held until 2008.

From 2009 to 2010, they completed office internships at De Voogt Naval Architects and the "Rijnhavenpark Project" at Hogeschool Rotterdam.

In 2010, they started working at Watersport Vereniging Nieuwe Meer as a Sailing Trainer, responsible for coordinating and supervising training sessions for a group of 35 children and 6 trainers. Ernst also served on the Youth Sailing Committee until 2014.

In 2013, they undertook an internship at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, where they focused on developing predictive models for composite sandwich construction.

Since 2014, Ernst has worked at OSD-IMT as a Naval Architect/Project Engineer, involved in various tasks such as concept and basic design, construction drawings and calculations, system diagram design, client consultations, and supplier collaborations.

Alongside their role at OSD-IMT, they briefly worked at Dosign as a Naval Architect/Project Engineer from 2014 to 2016.

In 2021, they joined EST-Floattech | Energy Storage Solutions as a Sales Engineer.

Before their university studies, Ernst completed their secondary education at Kennemer Lyceum from 1999 to 2004. Ernst earned their Havo degree with a focus on the Natuur & Techniek field of study.
