Christian Solis Barquero

Christian Solis Barquero has a strong background in supply chain management and continuous improvement. Christian is currently working as a Senior Supply Chain Manager at Establishment Labs. Prior to this, they worked at Kimberly-Clark as a Continuous Improvement Consultant, where they coached and trained employees in Lean-Six Sigma methodology and tools. Christian also developed new ways of working and re-engineered processes, resulting in defects reduction and cost savings. Christian has also held the position of Supply Chain Senior Manager at Procter & Gamble, where they migrated supply chain processes, negotiated operating strategies, and led a team of planners. Christian has experience in project management, as a Finance Project Manager at Bank of America, and in process improvement as a Process Excellence Manager at Maersk Line. Overall, Christian Solis Barquero has a proven track record of driving efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement in various organizations.

Christian Solis Barquero has a diverse education history. In 2004, they began their studies at Universidad Hispanoamericana (CR), where they pursued a Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering. Christian also attended Universidad de San José during this time and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance in 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Christian returned to Universidad Hispanoamericana in 2010 to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. In 2013, they attended Universidad de San José once again and achieved a Licentiate degree in Pedagogy.

After completing their initial education, Christian continued their academic pursuits, enrolling at ULACIT in 2020. Here, they completed two master's degree programs. Their first master's degree, specializing in Project Management, was earned in the same year. The following year, Christian obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Operations Management and Supervision.

In addition to their formal education, Christian has also obtained several certifications. Notably, they became an "Innovation Management Certified Professional" through CertiProf in May 2022. Christian earned a "Design Thinking Professional Certificate - DTPC®" from CertiProf in June 2021, and a "Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)" certification from Gemba Academy LLC in May 2021. Prior to these, Christian obtained the "Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)" certification from APICS in July 2020. In April 2012, they achieved the "ITIL Foundation" certification from amps, and later earned the "Scrum Master Professional Certificate - SMPC®" from CertiProf in July 2021.
