Martin Halblaub

Martin Halblaub has extensive work experience in various leadership and advisory roles. Martin is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Estating, a Fintech company specializing in real estate wealth management. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Managing Partner of High Performance Boards, where they provided advice and coaching to Principals, Boards, and Executives.

Martin also served as the CEO and Senior Advisor to the Chairman of SIX Digital Exchange, where they played a crucial role in shaping the company's ambition, strategy, and business model. Martin was instrumental in building a strong team and creating a company value of approximately $500 million USD from scratch.

Before their time at SIX Digital Exchange, Martin worked as a Senior Advisor at SIX, where they supported merging the Trading and Post-Trading Business and negotiated large international co-operations. Martin was also involved in designing and building SIX Digital Exchange.

Additionally, Martin worked as a Senior Advisor at Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG, advising the Board of Directors and Management on transformation, strategy, organization, and management evaluation. Martin also played a key role in reviewing an international BPO-Cooperation and negotiating its unwind.

Martin served as a Member of the Board of Management at Norddeutsche Landesbank, where they managed the bank through the financial crisis, avoiding a rescue fund and negotiating permitted subsidies with the European Commission and the local government.

Earlier in their career, Martin held leadership positions at BÖAG Börsen AG, WestLB, HSH Nordbank, and LBBW, where they gained experience in areas such as stock exchange operations, financial markets, risk management, and general management.

Martin Halblaub earned a Master's degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from both the University of Oxford and HEC Paris from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Heriot-Watt University between 1995 and 1997. Martin also holds a Master's degree in MSc Finance and Marketing from the University of Mannheim, which they obtained from 1987 to 1994. During the same period, they pursued Studies of Spanish Language, Literature, and Communication Science at the University of Mannheim. Martin participated in Visiting Doctoral Studies in Semiotics at the Universidad de Sevilla in 1992. Martin Halblaub has additional certifications as a Coach for Personality Development accredited by the DBVC (German Coaching Association) and completed The Leicester Conference on Authority, Role, and Organization at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations.
