David Sward has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. David started their career at Intervoice as a Test Engineer, where they developed and supported test diagnostics and provided on-site support for ICT fixtures. David then joined Estech Systems, Inc. (ESI) as a Repair Technician and later became the Repair Lead, where they supervised repair personnel and implemented new quality and quantity standards. David then worked as a Quality Assurance Technician at ESI - Estech Systems, where they evaluated returned hardware products for failure causes and made recommendations for product improvement. David eventually moved up to the role of Quality Assurance Analyst, monitoring product returns and resolving user issues. Currently, David is a Software Test Lead at ESI, coordinating the test schedule for multiple engineers and working with cross-functional teams to bring customer-centric products to market.
David Sward earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Intelligence Management from Henley-Putnam University between 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed an Associate in Science degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Homeland Security from Florida Metropolitan University from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their degrees, David has also obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt from the University of Texas at Dallas in June 2007, Software Quality Engineering from ASQ in December 2015, and CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from Medic First in July 2016.
