Ji Hoon Lee

Ji Hoon Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ji Hoon is currently serving as the Chief of Staff at Esusu, a financial technology company focused on providing credit access to underserved individuals. Ji Hoon also holds the role of an Investor at the same company. In addition, Ji Hoon Lee is a Co-Founder of CB Capital, a student-led venture capital fund investing in startups. Ji Hoon also acts as an Advisor & Limited Partner at Type One Ventures. Previously, Ji Hoon Lee held the position of Lead Venture Partner at Contrary, a venture fund supporting early-career engineers and designers. Ji Hoon has also worked as a Director at Provis Asset and as Manager and Associate in the Infrastructure Private Equity divisions of Mirae Asset Global Investments. Prior to that, Ji Hoon Lee had a Summer Analyst role at the same company. Ji Hoon began their professional career as a Sergeant in the Adjutant General Division of ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command. Ji Hoon Lee also served as a Special Advisor in the International Affairs Division of Seoul Squash Federation.

Ji Hoon Lee obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Ji Hoon Lee received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from William & Mary, studying from 2008 to 2014. In 2012, Ji Hoon Lee participated in a Chinese Language summer program at Tsinghua University. Additionally, Ji Hoon Lee attended Pomfret School from 2005 to 2008, but no degree or field of study was specified for that period.

In terms of certifications, Ji Hoon Lee obtained the Certified Investment Manager certification from the Korea Financial Investment Association in December 2016. Furthermore, Ji Hoon Lee achieved the Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in June 2011.
