Fergal Stanley

Fergal Stanley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Fergal began their career as the Owner/Manager of Stanley's Delicatessen, where they engaged in wholesale/retail fruit and vegetable and delicatessen supplies for 14 years.

In 2008, Fergal transitioned into the technology industry as a Software Engineer at Unum, where they developed in-house WinForm business applications using technologies such as C#, SQL Server, .NET, and web services. Fergal remained in this role until 2011.

Following their time at Unum, Fergal joined SourceDogg as a Senior Software Engineer. In this position, they were involved in SourceDogg.com's online procurement software, which provided buyers and groups of buyers with information and tools to find, evaluate, and negotiate with quality suppliers globally. Fergal utilized C# and ASP technologies during their tenure at SourceDogg.

In 2014, Fergal joined Prometric as a Senior Software Engineer. Fergal held this role for eight years, until 2022.

Currently, Fergal Stanley holds the title of Engineering Lead at ESW, starting in July 2023.

Fergal Stanley obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Commercial Computing with a 2:1 grade from Dundalk Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Fergal also gained additional certifications in "Introduction to Logic" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in 2014 and 2013, respectively.
