Holger Ulmer

Holger Ulmer has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and MLOps. Holger currently holds the position of Chief Expert MLOps at Robert Bosch GmbH since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Expert Machine Learning at ETAS from 2017. Holger also worked as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Expert in Machine Learning at ETAS from 2009. Before joining ETAS, Holger Ulmer was a Project Manager and Research Engineer at Robert Bosch from 2004 to 2009. Holger started their career as a Software Developer at Daimler-Benz InterServices, Debis-Systemhaus in 1997.

Holger Ulmer completed their education at the University of Tübingen from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Informatics. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1997, they studied at the University of Konstanz and obtained a Diplom degree in Physics. Additionally, Holger Ulmer has additional certifications, including a Dipl. in Physics from the University of Konstanz and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen.
