Ajat Hukkoo

Ajat Hukkoo is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in hardware and semiconductor engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of Hardware Engineering at Etched.ai since August 2023, Hukkoo focuses on AI accelerators. Previously at Intel Corporation from August 2014 to August 2023, responsibilities included leading the Custom Silicon Engineering Group and overseeing major projects such as the Bonanza Mine Bitcoin accelerators and Full Homomorphic Encryption accelerators. Earlier roles at Intel included senior directorships where Hukkoo managed SoC design and engineering for various advanced technologies. Prior to Intel, extensive contributions were made at Broadcom, including the development of the first 4G/LTE SoC and key leadership in integrated radio devices. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
