Daniel Berger

Hailing from New Zealand and holding deep connections to California and its rivers, Dan brings a combination of outdoor leadership, extensive whitewater and Sea Kayaking skills and a passion for helping people realize their true potential. After graduating with a Diploma in Outdoor Pursuits, Dan developed his guiding career on many of New Zealand’s pristine rivers and teaching in outdoor recreation programs. He has also managed commercial outfitters and has guided the three forks of the American River. After leading ETC’s River Program for five successful seasons Dan has now stepped into the role of ETC’s Program Director. Dan is truly at home in the outdoors and loves to share his passion with all that will join him!. He couldn’t be happier to be part of the ETC family to make the outdoors more inclusive and accessible for all!.
