Nihad Abbasov

Nihad Abbasov has worked in the software development industry since 2009. Nihad began their career at Idealand Agency as a Web Developer, where they used PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Kohana Framework, etc. In 2012, they joined Simmetria Web Design & Development as a Ruby Developer, developing company's own projects and websites for businesses and migrating legacy code from PHP to Ruby. In 2013, they moved to Start Interactive Agency as a Ruby on Rails Developer, developing and deploying e-commerce websites for businesses and open sourcing a local payment processing library. In 2014, they joined Kaptify as a Backend Engineer, developing an education platform for students and participating in decision making, configuring Linux web servers for app deployment and staging, and building RESTful APIs for mobile clients. In 2017, they moved to Digital Classifieds as a Software Architect and Senior Ruby Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined eTeam, Inc. as a Backend Engineer.

Nihad Abbasov obtained a Bachelor in Computer Science and Information Systems from Azerbaijan Technical University between 2008 and 2013. In July 2020, they obtained the AWS for Developers: DynamoDB certification from LinkedIn. In January 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In June 2014, they obtained the IELTS Academic - Band Score 6.5 certification from IELTS Official.
