William Smith

William Smith is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as a Senior Research Analyst and Portfolio Consultant at ETF Action since July 2021. Prior to this role, William held various positions at ALPS, A DST Company from June 2015 to July 2021, including Senior Investment Analyst and Investment Analyst in ETF Portfolio Management & Research. William's early career includes roles as an Intermediary Analyst and Fund Accountant at ALPS, and an Accounting Assistant at LK Shields in 2014. A Finance Intern at Westerra Credit Union in 2013 provided additional foundational experience. William holds a Master of Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, obtained in November 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, also with a Finance focus, from Auburn University, completed in 2015.
