Mitchell Grandia has been working in the graphic design and creative services industry since 2012. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. From 2012-2017, they were a 10u and 12u Water Polo Coach for the Costa Mesa Aquatics Club, where they taught fundamentals of water polo such as ODP concepts, treading water, head up swimming, offense/defense, and intermediate and advanced water polo skills. In 2017, they became the Lead Deckhand for Natalie Ann Sport Fishing. From 2018-2020, they were a Freelance Graphic Designer for Great Day Design. In 2021, they began working as a Graphic Designer for Ethika, Inc. Additionally, in 2020, they were an Illustrator/Graphic Designer for Studio DMAD, where they worked in a collaborative environment with other students and a lead designer to provide branding packages, logos, illustrations, social media packages, and other creative services to companies around the Orange County region and the U.S.
Mitchell Grandia's education history includes completing an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Graphic Design from Orange Coast College from 2018 to 2020, an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Art/Art Studies, General from Orange Coast College from 2012 to 2016, and graduating from Costa Mesa High School in 2012. Mitchell also holds several certifications, including Professional Mariner - Level 1 (STCW) from Orange Coast College in 2016, Basic Fire Fighting (STCW) from Orange Coast College in 2016, Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (STCW) from Orange Coast College in 2016, Personal Survival Techniques (STCW) from Orange Coast College in 2016, Safe Powerboat Handling from US Powerboating in 2015, and Safety & Rescue Boat from US Powerboating in 2015.
