Daniel Abebe

Daniel Abebe is the VP of Strategic Planning and Alliances at Ethiopian Airlines. Daniel has previously worked as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2014 at SIM Ethiopia. There, they supervised and monitored site projects, established and supervised an electronic data collection system in government health centres, facilitated funds to work with stakeholders to equip 13 government health centres laboratories and their data system for monitoring and evaluation, supervised data managers on different site projects, compiled digital data for leadership for decision making, provided new project proposal, provided direction and led the project assessment and evaluation team, managed the project's budget with regards to time and cost, organized and planned for medical teams who came from the U.S. to serve in the community in different medical and spiritual aspects, developed and managed relationships with partner organizations especially in the District Wide Approach program to ensure the effective implementation of sustainable water supply, sanitation and hygiene projects, responsible in the overall program management and coordination including monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the activities and programs, production of high quality project narrative & financial reports as per the periods agreed, ensure submission of timely progress reports, monitor and report on programmatic and financial risks, ensure timely release of funds and supply and ensure that cash are promptly and correctly liquidated, and ensure that agreed monitoring and evaluation activities take place and are of high quality including monitoring expenditures under programs/projects.

Daniel Abebe has a post graduate diploma in digital marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. Daniel also has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Addis Ababa University. Furthermore, they have a certificate in project management from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Since in Management Information Systems from CPU Collage of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Finally, they have a diploma in computer since from CPU Collage.
