Nell Sather

Nell Sather is an experienced Case Manager at the Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc. since October 2022, and a Barista at Maya Congee Cafe since August 2021, where food and drink preparation along with customer service are key responsibilities. Previously, Nell served as a Pod Teacher for private families, facilitating remote learning for 3rd-graders while delivering music lessons, and worked as a Wilderness Therapy Guide with True North Wilderness Program, supervising adolescents in outdoor therapeutic environments. Nell gained valuable teaching experience as an English Teaching Assistant with The Fulbright Program, instructing university courses and evaluating assessments. Additional roles include writing tutor and research assistant at Middlebury College, organizer and facilitator for JusTalks, English teacher for Next Generation Scholars, co-founder of Stairs on Stares, and summer activities coordinator for the City of Winooski. Nell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies from Middlebury College.
