Soo-Young Chin is a seasoned expert in ethnographic research and cultural consulting, currently serving as a Partner at ETHNOWORKS, Inc. since July 2010. With a strong background in cultural consultancy, Soo-Young has worked with Fortune 500 corporations and mid-sized organizations to conduct research that explores innovative solutions and examines the impact of cultural practices across various issues. In addition, Soo-Young has been a Nonprofit Consultant for Chin & Associates since January 2010, offering comprehensive services to health care, educational, and arts organizations. Previous experience includes leading ethnographic research at Ascension Health to drive innovation in healthcare processes. Soo-Young holds a Ph.D. in Human Development & Aging from the University of California, San Francisco, and has completed post-doctoral studies in Culture & Mental Health at the University of Chicago, along with an MA in Education-Language & Literacy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Comparative Religions & Sociology from Tufts University.
