Jonathan Weaver

Jonathan Weaver, CEng, is a highly experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Principal Electrical Engineer at Hydrock, leading the electrical design for a 48MVA Data Centre in London since September 2022. Jonathan founded Sovereign Engineering Ltd. in both Canada and the United Kingdom, providing consulting services across various industries, including data centres, oil & gas, and marine. Prior experience includes roles at Suncor as an onsite electrical engineer managing significant infrastructure upgrades, Exell Power Services delivering diverse engineering solutions for industrial and commercial projects, and George Fischer Sales Limited supporting product development. Jonathan holds a BEng (Hons.) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an MEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
