Mahesh Jayawickrama

Mahesh Jayawickrama is an experienced freight facility controller currently managing operations at Etihad Rail since June 2023. With a background in multiple roles related to train control and signaling, Mahesh has previously worked at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as a train controller, train driver, and signaling technician. Mahesh's experience began at Serco, where responsibilities included providing customer service and handling emergency situations as a train driver, assistant station master, and station agent for the Dubai Metro. Earlier career experience includes assisting customers as a contact center agent at Dialog Axiata PLC. Mahesh holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer and Network Engineering from PEARSON and a high school diploma in Pre-Medicine from Colombo South International College.
