Youssef Matta

Youssef Matta has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Youssef currently works at Etihad Rail as the Project Controls Director for the UAE-Oman Railway Link. Prior to this role, they were a Project Manager for Freight Facilities at the same company.

Before joining Etihad Rail, Youssef worked at Bechtel Corporation. Youssef held various roles, including Handover and Operational Readiness Project Manager, Project Delivery Manager, Business Manager in the Project Director's office, Project Field Engineer/NEC3 Supervisor's Rep, and Lead Field Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing construction quality, site supervision, configuration control, construction certification, and compliance with technical standards and specifications.

Youssef also worked as a Subcontract Administrator at C.A.T. International Qatar WLL and as a Section/Site Engineer at The C.A.T. Group.

Youssef Matta pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut between 1999 and 2003.
