Hany Bedair

Hany Bedair is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology, Carriers and Wholesale Officer and Chief Technical and Information Officer at Etisalat Afghanistan since October 2021, Hany also holds a board member position at mHawala and has been the Founder of UK TechnoServe LTD and Zeus Invest Limited since 2012 and 2014, respectively. With a notable background including roles as VP Operations & Chief Digital Officer at Benya and Chief Technology Officer at Roshan, Hany has demonstrated leadership in managing technology functions across various regions, overseeing substantial budgets and enhancing operational efficiency. An alumnus of Maastricht School of Management with an MBA in Banking & Finance and a B.Sc. in Telecommunications and Electronics from Ain Shams University, Hany is accredited in various project management and technical education programs.
