Alisha Arnsparger has had a diverse range of work experiences over the years. Alisha started their career as an Assistant Company Manager at Porthouse Theatre, where they were responsible for arranging travel, housing, food, and events for a company of 130 people during the summer season. Alisha also assisted with house management and guest services.
Alisha then worked as a Production Assistant at Live Design International, where they were a member of the backstage technical crew for technical theatre training classes and workshops. Alisha helped build various rigs and also stage managed presentations.
Alisha later became a House Manager at Forest Roberts Theatre, where they were responsible for maintaining order in all front of house areas, ensuring the conduct of the audience was appropriate, and communicating with stage management during performances. Alisha also supervised ushers and assisted the box office as needed.
Alisha then worked as a Community Advisor at Northern Michigan University, where they provided services to student tenants in a designated community area. Alisha'sresponsibilities included presenting orientation information, offering campus resources and academic support, responding to assistance requests, and managing the facilities in the complex.
After that, Alisha took on an ACUHO-I Internship role as a Summer Conference Manager. Alisha supervised a staff of conference assistants and managed reservations for special summer conference groups. Alisha also ensured housing quality control, responded to guest concerns or emergencies, and assisted with various projects within Housing & Residence Life and Business Operations.
Alisha then worked as an Assistant Residence Director at Syracuse University, where they assisted in managing a complex of three buildings housing 750 students. Alisha'sduties included supervising and evaluating student staff, overseeing the building's front desk, and maintaining daily functions.
In their next role as an Event Staff member at Logjam Presents, Alisha maintained the security and safety of guests at live music performances. Alisha also operated day-of-show logistics at various venues and handled customer inquiries.
Alisha then transitioned to an Entertainment Management Assistant role at Logjam Presents, where they oversaw the day-to-day box office operations, assisted with front-of-house preparation, and carried out research and data collection for internal projects.
Alisha later worked as a Box Office Manager at Logjam Presents, where they created ticketed events, managed customer service inquiries, and oversaw box office operations and cash flow for various venues.
Alisha then became an Assistant Retreat Director at Massage Heights, where they oversaw the daily front desk operations and supervised training and scheduling for Front Desk Associates. Alisha also assisted the Retreat Director in managing franchise goals.
In their most recent role as an Operations Manager at Double Trouble Entertainment LLC, Alisha processed rental requests, organized events and rental calendars, and maintained daily office operations. Alisha also coordinated labor, transportation logistics, and venue requirements.
Currently, Alisha works as a Customer Service Specialist at Etix, where they utilize their customer service skills to assist customers.
Throughout their work experience, Alisha has gained valuable skills in customer service, operations management, event coordination, and staff supervision.
Alisha Arnsparger completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication Studies from Northern Michigan University from 2011 to 2015. In 2019, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Entertainment Management from the University of Montana.
