Ben Wingrove

President of Revenue and Partnerships at Etix

Ben Wingrove has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In the early years of their career, they co-owned Permanent Records, a music company, from 1994 to 1998. Ben then joined Slick Winston Management as a co-owner and artist manager, where they were responsible for negotiating record, publishing, and agency deals for musician clients until 2000.

Ben worked in sales at Extensibility and TIBCO Software from 2000 to 2001 before co-owning The Hat Factory, an establishment they managed from 2009 to 2010.

Ben founded SchedulePop in 2013, which simplified staff scheduling through an online platform. In the same year, they became involved with the Hopscotch Music Festival as a co-owner, overseeing the organization of the annual event in North Carolina.

Ben joined Etix, an independent ticketing provider, in 2013 as Executive VP and later became President of Revenue and Partnerships in 2015. In these roles, they built the sales team and significantly expanded the company's client base to over 4,100 clients in more than 40 countries.

In 2016, they became an investor with Triangle Angel Partners, a group of angel investors focused on early-stage companies in the high tech and life sciences industries.

Ben Wingrove attended Wake Forest University School of Business from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Prior to that, they studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a BS/BA degree in Business Administration and Management. Earlier, from 1977 to 1990, Ben completed their high school education at Collegiate.
