Balakumaran Baskaran

Balakumaran Baskaran has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, where they developed a web-based health care application in Java. In 2012, they worked as an IT Analyst Intern at 3M Car Care. In 2013, they were a Student Assistant at TU Delft. In 2014, they worked as an Application Services Intern at Capgemini and an ETRM Consultant at PZEM, where they supported 3 trading frontend and 2 middleware applications. In 2017, they were an ETRM Consultant at Eneco Energy Trade B.V. Since 2018, they have been a Product Manager at ETRMServices, where they have worked with a team of 5 from product inception till launch of the proprietary product of ETRMServices ETRMHub. Balakumaran has also been responsible for follow-up maintenance, upgrades, expanding the product features and implementation for customers, trained 6 colleagues about the product, coordinated obtaining ISV status for the product with EPEX, Nordpool, Trayport, CROPEX and ETPA exchanges/trading platforms, and worked extensively with the sales department.

Balakumaran Baskaran completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy in 2012. Afterward, they attended Delft University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management of Technology in 2014.
