Celmira MacEdo (PhD)

Celmira Macedo (PhD) is an accomplished social entrepreneur and academic with extensive experience in education and social innovation. Currently serving as a Nomeado at Euclid Network since February 2023, Celmira is recognized among the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise 2023. As an investigator and lecturer at Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional de Braga since April 2021, Celmira contributes to the research group focused on cognition, intersubjectivity, and human development. In addition to roles as a postdoctoral researcher and invited professor, Celmira founded and serves as CEO of EKUI, while also holding positions as an Ashoka Fellow and Families Head Coach at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. Celmira's commitment to social impact is further demonstrated through speaking engagements and mentorship roles across various organizations, including Ashoka Portugal and Associação Acredita Portugal. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Special Education from Universidad de Salamanca and multiple postgraduate degrees.
