Richard Bosworth

Production Applications Engineering Team Leader at EUMETSAT

Richard Bosworth has a diverse work experience in the field of meteorology and engineering. Richard started their career in 1989 as a Science Officer at the U.K. Met. Office and worked there until 1993. Richard then joined the European Space Operations Centre as a Shift Meteorologist and worked there for two years. In 1995, they moved to EUMETSAT where they continued their role as a Shift Meteorologist until 1998. Richard then joined Vega I.T. GmbH in 1999 as a Principal Engineer and worked there until 2005. Richard returned to EUMETSAT in 2005 and held various leadership positions including GEO Data Processing Maintenance Team Leader and Production Applications Engineering Team Leader.

Richard Bosworth's education history includes several notable achievements. Richard attended King's Grove County High School from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained their O Levels in subjects such as English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Technical Drawing. Following this, they pursued their A Levels at Malbank School, Nantwich, United Kingdom, from 1984 to 1986. Richard'sA Levels focused on Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Lastly, Richard obtained a BSc (Hons.) degree in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Bradford, where they studied from 1986 to 1989.
